• "4th of July" annotated for rhetorical strategies AND rhetorical analysis outline due tomorrow (both will be collected)
• AP exam check due Friday!

Tuesday:

• Due Thursday: Read Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" on page 914 in textbook. Answer q's #2, 4, 6, 9, 11, 12 under "Rhetoric and Style." Bring textbook to class on Thursday.
• AP exam check due Friday

Wednesday:

• Swift reading due tomorrow
• AP exam check due Friday

Thursday:

• Read Mark Twain's "Damned Human Race" and annotate for satirical qualities
• AP exam check due TOMORROW!

Friday:

• Read Gloria Naylor's "The Meaning of a Word"; answer q's #1-3 under "Writing Strategy" and q. #1 under "Language" 
• If you are purchasing your own copy of Huck Finn, you will need it for Monday!
